INVESTMENT BANKER PASSPORT APPLICATIONS SURGE IN THE WAKE OF ELECTION RESULTS

In news apparently related to the Barak Obama victory, a sudden surge in new passport applications was noted in New York.

"Near as we can tell, a lot of people who might be looking at prison terms for their crooked financial schemes are leaving the country for destinations with no extradition treaties," said an official with the passport office.

Mortgage brokers and investment bankers headed the list of employment identified on the passport applications.

In related news, a flood of resumes for job seekers is flowing out of Washington, as Bush Administration officials prepare to flee the city when their political appointment jobs expire.

"It is ironic that a lot of the people who created the economic meltdown and cost millions their jobs are now finding themselves about to be on the streets," said Robert Vescow, head of the Ponzi Institute at the General Delivery University.
